Akaka Falls has an excellent chance to break through for a maiden race win at Mornington this afternoon.
He finished third behind Oxley Road at Flemington first-up and he raced well at Yarra Valley last start.
On exposed form he has a clear class edge over the rest of this field and he should prove too strong for his rivals.
Mornington – Race 2 2:00PM AEST
No. 9 Miss Ostentatious – Bet Now: $8.00
Miss Ostentatious has shown some ability during her racing career to date and she is great value at her current quote of $10.
She tired late at Pakenham last start, but the form coming out of that race has been good and she will make her own luck right on the speed.
Mornington – Race 6 4:00PM AEST
No. 4 Wild Cherry Road – Bet Now: $4.00
Wild Cherry Road should have every possible chance to make a winning return to the races this afternoon.
She has only recorded the one race win from her ten race starts, but she has generally raced in stronger races than this and her one win did come first-up.
Beau Mertens in the saddle is a positive and she will make her own luck right on the speed.

No. 9 Little Stevie – Bet Now: $3.80
Little Stevie has been in excellent form this campaign and has been unlucky not to have claimed more than the one race win.
She wasn’t beaten far behind Melba Storm at Ballarat two starts ago and finished in the placings at Ladbrokes Park Sandown last start.
Barrier one is ideal and she will make her own luck right on the speed.
