DUVESSA was formerly with Peter Robl when she debuted with an even run at Canterbury last June. She looks to have developed physically this time around as a 3yo and is now under the care of John O’Shea. Her recent trials have been impressive to my eye. She began well in both before being restrained then she was allowed to git the line which she did in fine style. From a good gate she should stalk the speed and hopefully be too strong in the run home.

RACE 6                        NO.10  SPECIAL MISSILE

SPECIAL MISSILE lines up in the days feature event and to my way of thinking I expect his rider Brenton Avdulla to take control of the race right from the get go. This gelding took giant leaps last preparation and judging by his recent barrier trial he is ready to continue his rapid rise. If he gets any reasonable sectionals up front he will let rip from the three furlong pole and hopefully prove hard to get past.
