He took a few runs to find himself at the early part of his career but he has now become a very consistent galloper that seems to give his all each time he steps out. Coming off a five week break when forced to cover a lot of extra ground and with 59.5kg on his back he never stopped trying when finishing the line behind Chapelco. He meets Chapelco 2.5kg better but the two biggest bonuses are there looks a nice genuine tempo on paper and from a better gate he should have plenty of gas left for his final charge.
RACE 9 NO.3 CORUSCATE
CORUSCATE was looking for three on the trot when he just whacked away to finish midfield here four weeks ago behind Maximus. James Cummings sent him back to the trials to sharpen him up and he just cruised around looking full of himself. With a nice tempo here he should just tuck in behind them and be ready to go at the business end and hopefully send us punters home in a good mood.
