Craig Williams and trainer Enver Jusufovic are proving to be a winning combination, with the duo back in the winner’s stall last Saturday at Flemington thanks to Mytemptation.

That victory was Williams’ first ride for Jusufovic in 2025 and made it six wins in a row for him aboard the trainer’s horses.

Williams aims to extend that streak to seven when he rides Mixxit in the $250,000 Country Mile Series Final at Caulfield on Saturday.

The in-form jockey has notched two wins on Mixxit, three aboard Mytemptation, and a victory on Proved at Moonee Valley since July 2022, maintaining an impressive 38.9% strike-rate from his 18 rides for Jusufovic.

“‘EJ’ has a great strike-rate, so I guess if you’re going to do strike-rates with any jockey with ‘EJ’, you’re going to find that they’re going to have a pretty good strike-rate,” Williams said.

Williams and Mixxit drew barrier 16 but will start from gate 12 if emergencies aren’t needed.
