Race 1

A wide open race to start the day, with 1 CAPETOWN HUSSY the current favorite at $5. She drops back list level here, but the wide gate is the issue., she will get back as per her racing pattern and with luck can go close here. 11 DENBERN should get a nice economical trip, and at his best can certainly in the finish. 3 RULING DYNASTY is one at big odds I could entertain a EW play, he was good late last start, another who draws well here to settle closer than last time, and his 4.5L defeat behind FELTE at h this track and distance last prep, is good enough to go close here.

Race 2

I cant be with MR MARBELLOUZ at the $1.45 quote here in a deeper race than last start, when he was a beaten $1.55 favorite. In fairness, he was a month between runs on heavy track, but he was beaten fair and square.  Happy to be with 8 TYZONE At the EW here, having his first start for Toby Edmonds. He’s a horse who I believe goes better on a good track,  and can get a nice smother in the run and be charging late.

Race 3

13 OINK was a good effort when resuming last start, and can win here3 second up. He never runs a poor race, and from the gate I can see him landing in a good trailing position and he looks the hardest to beat. 15 DIVINE UNICORN is a lightly raced gelding who has been good in 4 life time starts. He trialed up well behind up and coming NSW horse CARE TO THINK, and looks ready to run a race here.

Race 4

Expecting 8 DREAMS APLENTY to lead again here, with 2 MOHER making him work early then taking a sit on the leaders back. 5 AQUA VITE will be settling closer today, with 7 RUETIGER getting the perfect trailing position. I’m keen to play Quinella, Exacta and trifecta’s around 2,5,7 here, off the back of the speed map. I think 7 RUETTIGER is an improver back on the dry track with a good gate, he was ok first up, then a complete forgive last start. He looks ready today, and while he hasn’t won for while, he gest his chance here.

Race 5

Speed here from the from of 1 BOOMSARA  & 9 ZOOM BY, with 2 BLUE BOOK punching up from inside gate. The speed looks good enough here to allow 3 LEAN MEAN MACHINE to balance up and rocket home over the top of them here. He’s Sydney form is good, and he looks like an above average horse. He will need to be at his best to over come the gate and getting back, but I think he’s best is better than these.

Race 6

The 900m Bat Of Hell to kick off the QD, and I’m going wide here with numbers 4,5,8,9,14 all going in.  4 PROMPT RESPONSE looks to get the perfect run in transit, and he is the horse to beat. 8 KHALAMA is one at odds I can also entertain, sprints well fresh, well weighted and a blow out hope.

Race 7

10 CHAMPAGNE CUDDLES gets the perfect trailing behind 1 WHYPEEO And they look the 2 too battle out the finish. She is Group 1 placed in Sydney, and form behind the likes of Trapeze Artist etc is super for this. 5 MARBLE was a eye catching effort working home well late, behind 1 WHYPEEO and is a hope. 1 WHYPEEO isn’t the best beginner, but he will work to the lead from the wide gate and be giving them something to catch.

Race 8

The wide for 1 ITS SOMEWHAT isn’t a concern here, I think he can work across under his own steam, control the race and give a big on kick in the straight and win.  His run behind Trapeze Artist last start in the All Age was good, and comes here to defend his title, in what looks a race with a only a few winning hopes.  2 COMIN” THROUGH looks hardest to beat, maps to get the nice run and his runs behind Happy Clapper and WINX have been good.

Race 9

The Silk Stocking to finish off the day for the girls, and another good race to dissect here.  5 ANATOLA was electric winning last time out, running a race record sitting outside the leader and bolting in. She looks like she can find that position today, and is the clear horse to beat. 3 TEST THE WORLD was left in her wake last start, but strips fitter here and can certainly settle close to the speed again and be in the money. 9 RIVER RACER was really good winning on the wet track last start, draws to get a nice trail here and is a trifecta hope.
