Race 1

1 TAN TAT DIAMOND put up a big performance resuming, when he was hurtling down the outside to win impressively. Kings Of Leon was very stiff in that race, and it may have made it interesting, but take nothing away from the winner. It will need luck getting back from the inside gate, but if it gets luck it’s the horse to beat.  10 MY LITTLE FLICKA can lead and give a sight in front, with 1 SONY LEGEND a hope with luck also.

Race 2

11 DIVINE UNICORN was excellent in winning first up, strips fitter here and looks hard to beat again.  He maps to get a gun run again here and looks a nice horse on the up. 1 SERGANT BLAST brings the NZ form across, difficult to line up but must be respected. 9 DENBERN and 7 SAVWELL for the minor money.

Race 3

I’ve penned this as a match race between 2 NO ANNAMOSSITY and 14 LETS PARTY MARTY. I’m leaning toward 2 NO ANNAMOSSITY at the price, and happy to bet Each Way. He was super on debut, getting back and hitting the line hard late, and would have won in another stride. 14 LETS PARTY MARTY was a horrible watch last time and should have clearly won.  He will be on speed here, with 2 NO ANNAMOSSITY stalking him, and hopefully getting home over the top.

Race 4

1 SIZZLING BELLE looks the one to beat, she was running into the race before coping interference, when beaten 5L here last week.  She’s drawn to get a better run in transit here and looks to get her chance. I’m not diving in at the price, but I have her on top.   I loved the run and win of 14 ARCHERS PARADOX on debut at Ipswich.  It was a low maiden, but he missed the start, almost falling, then just circled the entire field and bolted in. He is big odds here, but I can’t let him go around without something small on.  5 CLOCKWISE & 2 SHAMURT are chances also.

Numbers: 1 – 14 – 5 – 2

Race 5

9 KHALAMA looks to represent a bit of value, in a race where she will sit off a hot speed and be charging home late. Not reading too much into the Bat out of hell as a form race, but she found the line well and it was a nice tune up for this. Stable mate 10 TIYATROLANI is also a leading hope, who ran well in the same race as her stable mate.  I’m keen that either of these 2 win with the right run, and happy to play 9 KHALAMA at the prices.

Race 6

1 CHAUFFEUR looks very well in at set weights, and looks the class runner. His runs behind horses the quality of MENARI & TRAPEZE ARTIST has him lengths ahead of these, has trialed well and looks the winner.  6 SCALLOPINI should run well and is a hope, and I give a rough place chance to 16 BOASTING at any old odds.

Numbers: 1 – 6 – 16 – 9

Race 7

The Group 3 BRC SPRINT has attracted an even and competitive field, and I think the local hope 9 PRIVLAKA is a very good chance. He made good ground late in the Victory Stakes at Group 2 level, and the form out of that through Impending has stood up. He maps to get a nice run here and can entertain him at the EW price. 13 TEST THE WORLD will likely hold the fence for some stage of the race, and at worst can settle behind the leader. Has good form through ANATOLA and is the one to beat.

Race 8

Group 1 DOOMBEN CUP over 2000m, and 12 OREGON’S DAY comes up favorite, off the back of her dominate Group 2 AG HOLLINDALE win. She did get the perfect run, but she did the job, and looks a chance here. I don’t want to be on her here at the price, as I think this race has more depth. I’m having 2 win bets in the race, with 3 AMBITIOUS my on top selection. His first 2 Australian runs in stronger Group 1 races where very good for this, and his last run behind WINX is a total forgive. He cast 3 plates in the run, and you can total forget he went around, clear horse to beat for me. 13 ABBEY MARIE will be getting a smaller win bet, she has ran some super races this prep, and looks ready to win here. Her form in races like the Caulfield Cup is excellent and will relish the 2000m here.

RACE 9

2 ANATOLA is absolutely airborne in winning her last 2, and she looks a better than 50/50 chance to lead and win again here.  She should have no issue leading from gate 6, Josh Parr will set the tempo to suit, and she will roar away over the last 200m to win.  3 NOTONYOURLIFE races well in this company, she will get back and find the line. 5 DONTBAYLON can get the back of ANATOLA and get her chance to run a place.
