This gelding is racing in terrific heart at present and looks the one to beat here. He was going well but he took a big step when he went to Coffs harbour and turned in a quality run against some handy horses. Since that run he looks an improved galloper and with the step up to 2000m he may take no prisoners and be hard to run down.

When this filly won on debut back in early July she looked pretty handy and I’ve been waiting for her to step out again. She has drawn poorly and she jumps sharply in grade but I love backing horses that you believe are just passing through as they progress to better races and she falls into that category.
