WALLANGARRA took some big steps in his career last preparation and I’ve been awaiting his arrival back for his next campaign and it starts today. First up over the mile is never easy but trainer Kris Lees has given him two solid trials to have him ready to fire. Two of three wins have come with a little sting out of the track and he gets that today. In a perfect world he’d love them to run along a little to allow him to slot in and although it’s only a small field the pace on paper looks pretty fair.

RACE 6                        NO.1    ELEAZAR  

ELEAZAR is first up off the back of a nice barrier trial at Rosehill a fortnight ago. He should jump and hopefully he is quick enough early so he can cross and lead and if he does that it might be the end of the section. The combination of the Hawkes stable and Brenton Avdulla is flying so hopefully this is another one.
